====== Update Task ======

===== Overview =====

Update Task in SarasX Mobile App allows the user to record the latest task progress, change the task status, provide due date when required, and save the update in one flow.

This is useful for:
  * Recording the latest visit or work progress
  * Moving the task to the next status
  * Confirming the work done
  * Attaching update-related images at the same time

===== Step 1: Open the Update Tab =====

  * Open the required task
  * Go to the **Update** tab

System shows the task update form configured for that task type.

===== Step 2: Provide the Update Text =====

  * Type the update message in the update area
  * Describe what was checked, completed, observed or still pending

The text entered here becomes part of the task log trail.

===== Step 3: Change the Status =====

  * Select the required status from the available status options

Examples of status movement may include:
  * Work In Progress
  * Waiting for Parts
  * Review Pending
  * Closed

**Note**: The actual status values are controlled by SarasX configuration for that tenant.

===== Step 4: Provide the Date if Visible =====

  * If the due date or visit date field is visible, provide the required date
  * If the field is not visible, continue without it

This field may represent different meanings such as:
  * Due date
  * Visit date
  * Plan date

The exact label depends on the task document configuration.

===== Step 5: Add Images if Required =====

  * Use the image picker in the update tab
  * Select one or more images from gallery or camera
  * Review the image preview before saving

Selected images are prepared and uploaded as part of the task update flow.

===== Step 6: Save the Update =====

  * Tap the save or confirm button

During save, SarasX Mobile App may show progress such as:
  * Saving log
  * Uploading images
  * Task completed

After save:
  * Task detail refreshes
  * The latest log becomes visible
  * Related attachments become visible

===== Important Points =====

  * Task update is saved together with the status change
  * Date is required only when that field is configured and visible
  * Image upload is part of the same update flow and should be completed before saving
  * After save, users should review the refreshed task detail to confirm the result
