====== Manage Image ======

Use this section to learn how to upload, edit, delete, sort and set default image for Design, Raw material, General Item, Metal, Stone, Chemical or Steel.


===== Search and Open record =====

If you want to manage images for a design / item, then follow below steps to search and view.

    * **Go to** the respective menu eg: click on **Design** menu to or **Raw material** menu
    * **Search** for the record that needs to be modified
    * **Open** the record
    * Go to the tab named: **Image**


You can **search using various filters**: ID, Parent ID, Name, or Keywords

**Note:** Image upload, edit, delete activity changes are saved immediately when Confirm button is clicked, you do not have to click the Save button one more time.


After the record is opened, follow the below steps to perform various tasks.


===== Scenario 1: Upload Image =====

Open the record by following the instructions given under **Search and Open** section

  * Click on **+ Image** button to add new image
  * A popup will open
  * You can **select** an image or **drag and drop** the image in the box provided
  * Provide the Type and Description
  * Mark "Set Default" if required.
  * Click **Confirm** button

**Note:** At a time only one image can be marked as default, setting an image to default will set the previous image default setting to false.


===== Scenario 2: Delete Image =====

Open the record by following the instructions given under **Search and Open** section

  * To delete an image, move your mouse over an image.
  * This will display action button to delete an image
  * Click on **X** button to delete the required image
  * A popup will open to ask for your confirmation, Click yes to **delete**



===== Scenario 3: Modify Image Description =====

Open the record by following the instructions given under **Search and Open** section

  * To edit an image, move your mouse over an image.
  * This will display action button to delete an image
  * Click on **Pen shaped** button to edit the required image
  * A popup will open
  * Modify the details as required
  * To show the image as **default**: Turn Set Default **on**
  * To show the image on the mobile app (only supported if you have a mobile app from SarasX for this module): Turn the **Show on App?** button to **on**
  * and then click **Confirm** button


**Note:** An icon will be visible to indicate the default image, a mobile shaped icon will be visible to indicate if the show on app is turned on.

**Note:** If you want to replace an existing image, then delete the current one and reupload the new one.

===== Scenario 4: Sort Image =====

Open the record by following the instructions given under **Search and Open** section

  * To sort the images, click on **Toggle Sort Mode** button
  * The images can now be dragged and sorted as required.
  * Drag the images with the help of mouse and arrange them in the order you need.
  * Changes are saved immediately
  * Click on **Toggle Sort Mode** button again once the images are in the order you want.
